Children of
Ferdinand ALBERTZKI and
Rose NASTALI:
Ferdinand ALBERTZKI
(7 Dec 1864 - 3 Feb 1917 )
The parents of Ferdinand ALBERTZKI, Carl ALBERTZKI and Maria SCHOSKI were married before 1864 (based on Ferdinand's birth date). Their names are first found in the recordof marriage of Ferdinand ALBERTZKI and ROSE NASTALI. There is no record of Carl ALBERTZKI having emigrated, so it is probable he died in Germany. There is a record of a Marie ALBERTZKI, age 50 and and Fritz (age 15) arriving in Baltimore, Maryland on the S/S Hermann on September 12, 1888. The 1895 City directory of Chicago lists Marie ALBERTZKI, widow of Carl living at 4835 S. Marshfield Ave.along with Henry Albertski. According to the 1900 census, Maria SCHOSKI was born in February 1838 in Germany. Marie died on December 22, 1901 in Chicago, and was buried in Evergreen Park, Illinois (St. Mary's Cemetery). Filby's "Germans to America - Volume 1" has record of a Ferdinand ALBERTZKI arriving from Bremen to Baltimore on the Braunschweig (North German Lloyd Lines). His age was listed as 24 years old, and his occupation was laborer.

It is interesting to note that on the 1900 Census, next door from Marie and Henry ALBERTZKI, was Suzy Greenholz and her son Charles ALBERTZKY. Suzy is listed as head of household, was born in Germany in June 1846, and was widowed. Her son Charles was born January 1888 in Germany. No record has been found as to how this family might be related.
